Everyone needs security software—and for Windows, Norton 360 Deluxe is one of the best antivirus suites on the market. Not only do you get superb protection, but additional extras like a password manager, VPN access, dark web monitoring, parental controls, and cloud storage in a centralized interface. And right now during Black Friday, you can pick it up at a steep discount.
Normally, a one-year subscription costs $120 per year, but Amazon has it for just $20 right now. This plan covers up to five devices (including Windows, Macs, iPhones, and Android phones). Need coverage for more devices? Norton 360 Premium, which supports up to 10 devices and offers more cloud storage, is currently $25 on Amazon. Newegg is also offering the same deal on Deluxe and Premium, with reviews noting success using the codes to renew an existing subscription. (The reviews also say to wait until the last day of your subscription, in order to not shorten the time left on your current plan.)
If Norton doesn’t appeal to you, other antivirus deals are happening right now, too—though in our opinion, you don’t get as much bang for your buck. Newegg is charging just $23 for two years of Bitdefender Total Security (use code BFCYA7592 at checkout), which provides broader protection than Windows Defender, but lacks many of Norton’s extras (e.g., VPN, parental controls, password manager). Meanwhile, you can snag 15 months of McAfee Total Protection through Amazon for $15 (up to three devices) or $25 for 15 months (up to 5 devices). Its feature set is closer to Norton 360 Deluxe, except there are no parental controls. ESET Internet Security is similar to McAfee and on sale for $23 for one year (up to five devices), though it has parental controls and no VPN.
These deals should last until Black Friday, which gives you time to figure out who in the family needs a security boost on Thanksgiving. Or to stock up on codes so you’re prepared for your shift as the resident IT support person, surrounded by everyone else chowing down.
