Google’s Nest thermostat is something of a godsend. Not only does it keep your humble abode feeling nice and comfortable, but it’s also incredibly easy to install and it monitors your HVAC system, which is useful if anything goes haywire. I’ve got one in my house and I couldn’t be happier with it. This little device saves me a good amount of money in heating and cooling costs. If you’re looking to pick one up, good news! It’s on sale for $199.99 at Best Buy right now, which is a savings of $50.
The Google Nest can either be hard wired into your house or you can use the battery power. You can control it with the companion app, allowing you to quickly manage the temperature in your house. This device will even learn your preferred temperatures in a week, so you don’t have to keep adjusting it. The installation process is easy, too. Everything you need is in the box and it can work without a C wire in most homes. It’s also compatible with Amazon Alexa, Cortana, Google Assistant, and Hue.
