Amazon just launched a brand new Echo Spot model and you can snag it for a steep discount if you’re an Amazon Prime member. Available for just $45 in this early Prime Day deal, this cool new smart speaker/alarm clock combo will jump up to $80 once Prime Day is over.
This sleek, smart, Alexa-imbued device promises vibrant sound and a lot of features that are supposed to make your life easier.
The Echo Spot looks similar to the Echo Dot but instead has a flat face with a screen that shows time, date, and weather. When you’re playing music, it also shows song titles. But the coolest part is that you can personalize the display with multiple clock faces and colors.
What’s new in the 2024 model of the Echo Spot? It has a revamped design that splits the screen from the speaker, the speaker quality is improved, the display has a simplified aesthetic, the Wi-Fi connectivity is improved, and it’s made from 36% recyclable materials.
Note that the Echo Spot’s newer 2024 version doesn’t have a built-in camera, so it no longer supports video calling. Due to its redesigned screen, it also no longer supports video streaming.
You can still ask Alexa to do all kinds of things for you, like playing certain songs, setting timers and reminders, scheduling alarms, looking up answers to questions, and more.
Don’t like the idea of Alexa listening in on you? You can disable the microphone altogether with a physical button on the device or through adjustments made in the Alexa app.
If you want a smart alarm clock that’s sleek, stylish, and can control Alexa-compatible devices around your home, this is a solid option—especially at this introductory price of $45 for Prime members.
Don’t have Prime? You can snag a 30-day free trial to not only score this deal but also thousands of upcoming deals for Prime Day. That’s right! Prime Day is just around the corner and it’s going to be awesome. Follow us for all the best Prime Day deals coming up!
